SPS Digital Learning Hour presents Arturo De Bourbon

Community engagement, corny jokes, shout outs and general school announcements. For this week’s interview, we meet with Arturo De Bourbon, a Technology Teacher from Samuel Bowles Elementary. Through his work with students in the classroom, Arturo had taken morning school announcements to a whole new level.

Learn how Arturo went from in person morning messages to remote messages and even expanded what the messages look like. Throughout the interview we learn how Arturo came to teaching, some things that he is excited about during this remote time, and what he is doing to take care of himself. Being able to keep the announcements going has been a tremendous accomplishment by providing normalcy in a year that has been anything but.
